Photography / Art Directing

Art Directing course contains many practical exercises and projects, each with its own conceptual instructions, technical and artistic goals.
Students will learn practical recommendations for graphic techniques and design aesthetics, preproduction procedures, production design, procedures and etiquette on the set, continuity. Students will learn about many advantages offered by the revolutionary shift to digital filmmaking.
Students focusing on art direction will study
costume and set design, and will learn how
to create storyboards using Photoshop.
Students will put their newly
acquired skills into practice by designing
the costumes, sets, and storyboards, as well
as creating artwork for the web site of that
season's original production, to be showcased
at the conclusion of the program.
