The Birmingham Film Institute is
an association of film professionals with
the desire to share our love and knowledge
of the film industry with interested young
adults. We have developed an after-school
program where students ages 12-16 can learn
about various aspects of filmmaking, develop
associated skills, and participate in the
filmmaking process from beginning to end.
Our mission is to offer today's technology
savvy youths an alternative to traditional
extra curricular activities, the opportunity
to interact with other young people with similar
interests, and to enable them to express their
unique sense of style and creativity through
film.
